Back pain, neck pain, headaches — treated at the source.
Chiropractic care at Agility focuses on your spine, joints, and muscles — using hands-on adjustments, soft-tissue work, and rehab exercises to reduce pain and restore movement, so you can get back to doing what you love.
What chiropractic care can help with
Most people come to us when pain is getting in the way of work, sport, sleep, or everyday life. These are the problems we treat most:
Back pain
Acute strains, ongoing low back pain, and stiffness that makes sitting, lifting, or bending a chore.
Neck pain & stiffness
Desk-related neck pain, reduced range of motion, and tension that builds through the week.
Headaches
Headaches linked to neck tension and posture — assessed first to make sure chiropractic care is the right fit.
Sciatica & leg pain
Pain, tingling, or numbness running down the leg, often traced back to the low back and pelvis.
Sports injuries
Sprains, strains, and overuse injuries — treated with the goal of getting you back to your sport, not just back on your feet.
Whiplash & posture-related pain
Recovery after a car accident or years of postural strain — gentle, progressive care matched to where you are.
What happens at your first visit
No surprises, no pressure. Here's how a first chiropractic appointment at Agility works:
Talk
Your history — when the pain started, what makes it better or worse, what you've already tried, and what you want to get back to.
Assess
Movement, posture, joint mobility, and muscle function — plus screening for anything that needs a different kind of care first.
Plan
A clear explanation of what's going on and a treatment plan with an honest timeline — including when to expect a re-assessment.
Treat
Hands-on care where appropriate — adjustments, soft-tissue work, and exercises you can do at home to keep progress going between visits.
Chiropractic + physiotherapy, under one roof
Some problems respond best to one discipline; others need both. When it helps your case, your chiropractor and physiotherapist coordinate — one clinic, one plan, no repeating your story twice. If your assessment shows you'd be better served by physiotherapy, massage, or a referral elsewhere, we'll tell you that plainly.
Questions people ask before booking
"Do I need a doctor's referral?"
No. Chiropractors in Ontario are primary-contact health care providers, which means you can book directly without a referral. If your case needs imaging or a medical opinion, we'll arrange the right referral from there.
"Does an adjustment hurt?"
Most people feel pressure or movement, not pain — and many feel looser right after. Some mild soreness the next day is possible, similar to soreness after a workout. Your chiropractor explains each step before doing it and adjusts the approach to your comfort level.
"How many visits will I need?"
It depends on the problem — a recent strain and a years-old back issue are different cases. You'll get a clear plan at your first visit, and progress is re-assessed along the way so treatment continues only while it's helping.
"Is chiropractic care covered by insurance?"
Many extended health plans include chiropractic coverage. Call us at (613) 836-3699 and we'll help you check what your plan covers before your visit.
"Can I combine chiropractic care with my physiotherapy?"
Yes — and at Agility that's easy, because both teams work in the same clinic. When your case benefits from both, your providers coordinate your plan together.
